Amor de Dios, Madrid, Spain

These photographs were taken back in 1976 when my late wife Rina was taking flamenco lessons from Ciro (full name Ciro Diezhandino Nieto) in the old Amor de Dios studio in Madrid. I remember the staircase to the entrance of the building being made of stone and so worn by centuries of people using it that the stairs were a third thinner than they were originally. The studio has since been moved to a newer building.
